More Gina K Christmas cards

Hi everyone!   I have a few more cards to share from Gina K's September release.  First up is a card using the set, Winter Blocks illustrated by Tami.  I went with another chalkboard themed card and stamped the image/sentiment with Versamark and embossed with white EP.  I hand drew the white and green lines with my Prismacolor pencils and did some sponging with white pigment ink, fun stuff!  The felt die cuts were left over from this card.
Next up is a card using Poster Board Christmas, illustrated by Becky.  This is another flat, easy to mail CAS Christmas card.  I like how this turned out, it just has enough embellishments to be unique and special and still easy to make.

My cards use Grass Green and Black Onyx inks and Black, White and Red Hot cardstock from the Gina's Color Companion collection.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!  Here are some close up pictures.

Washi tape mini cards

Hi everyone!  Today I took some time and made a few mini cards JUST FOR FUN.  I just got the new Washi tape from MME from the new Chalk Studio line and fell in love!
I thought I would make a quick set of birthday cards using the new Birthday Vintage Labels Four stamp set.  The sentiments and fonts in this set are super cute and perfect for the chalkboard craze that's going on right now!  I stamped them with Versamark ink and embossed with white powder.

These measure 4 1/4" x 3 1/2" and each use a different piece of washi tape from the set, use different Prima flowers and sentiments.
Here is the group shot
This one uses the pink/black stripes tape with pink flower accents and pearls

This one uses the leaf garland tape with turquoise flower accents and sequins
This one uses the banner tape with a mint green and pale blue flower accents and rhinestones
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops.

Today we are spotlighting 2 sets:
Lots of Lines, designed by Beth

Poster Board Christmas, designed by Becky

First up is a card I made with Lots of Lines.  I love the graphic images and variety of sentiments in this set!  I saw a similar card on Pinterest and thought it would be perfect to use the circle image for this.  I used the new kraft ink (total swoon) for the circles and the sentiment is in Dark Chocolate from the Color Companion inks.  I layered Circles LG and SM shapes in Kraft Pure Luxury cardstock.  I added a shot of a yellow flower with Lemon Tart cardstock and some sequins for pops of color.
This card just makes me happy!

My next card uses Poster Board Christmas. Again, I went simple and flat with this card (this is a MUST for my Christmas cards).  I layered Cherry Red cardstock and pattern paper for the poinsettia and stamped the sentiment with the sparkly starlite black ink.  A couple strips of cardstock and rhinestones and you're done!

Gina K September release inspiration blog hop: Day 1

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Day 1 of the Gina K Designs DT Inspiration Blog Hop where we hope to inspire you with many beautiful ideas for the sets released in September! As you hop through the blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each because we will choose a few random commenters and they will win a grab bag of Gina's products!! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops.

Today we are spotlighting 2 sets:
Let it Snow, designed by Theresa
Winter Blocks, designed by Tami
First up is a card I made with Let it Snow.  I love every thing snowflakes (except in real life), they are so beautiful and delicate.  There are 8 stunning snowflakes in this set and I stamped 2 on my card in using Ocean Mist and Turquoise Sea Color Companion inks.  I layered Labels Sixteen shapes in White and Ocean Mist Pure Luxury cardstock.  Lastly, I added some stickles around the white label and added a snowflake sequin w/pearl and done!  Flat and easy to mail = 1 stamp mailing!!
My next card uses Winter blocks. For this card, I tried to pull off the super popular chalkboard look I'm seeing everywhere.  I stamped the image with white ink on black pure luxury cardstock.  Then I drew in some lines with green, red and white colored pencils and a ruler, and I lightly sponged ink around randomly.  I just love poinsettias and thought a small felt one would be the perfect accent to this card.  It is still relatively flat and will fit into an envelope easily.  I probably won't mail this, but it's easy to give out in person.

Ready for the hop?  Check out all the amazing designs and inspiration:
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the hop!  Come back tomorrow where we showcase 2 more new sets!  Here are a couple close up pictures.
