Gina K release party invitation

Hi everyone!  Today I would like to invite you to the Gina K Designs release party!  We have a fun evening planned for you - chatting, prizes, challenges, stamp sets reveal, design team shares, and most importantly, at the end of the party you will be able to go shopping!

If you came from Sharon's blog, you're at the right place. If not make sure to head over to StampTV where you will find a list of all those participating in today's hop.

Here's a peek at one of the cards I will be sharing at the party.  My card uses the set, Garden Fresh and if I had to chose, it would be my favie from the release.  There are lots of fruit and veggie images with cute sentiments.  I couldn't resist using some of my new Jillibean Soup papers that Gina now carries with these pears.  The colors were perfect and I LOVE THESE DESIGNS.

Hope to see you at the party, here are all the details:
Now, head on over to Melanie's blog to see what sneak peek she's sharing with you today.  She peeks a stamp set that she designed and she always does something fabulous!!

STAMP SIMPLY with PRIMA Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store PRIMA blog hop!  As you can probably tell from my last couple of blog posts, I sure loves me some PRIMA!!  And I am in luck because today's blog hop showcases all kinds of Prima products.  AND you're in luck because Sharon just received some NEW Prima products just in time for today.

I have a couple cards to share today.  I was lucky enough to use the Madeline collection for my cards.  My first card uses Madeline 6x6 paper pad, a flower from the Whisper collection, and one from the Sugar Bloom collection and I used a teal flower from the Fairytale Rose collection. Do you see a little bit of the 1/8" velvet ribbon?  I used a couple pieces along both sides of the card, it almost looks like brown cardstock strips in the picture, but it's ribbon. I secured them down with the 1/8" Scor-Tape -love this stuff!
My second card uses more of the fabulous Madeline 6x6 paper, but this time I paired it with the green flowers from the Delightful Day collection.  I see Sharon is out of the green ones I used, but no worries she has them on order.  This card is pretty clean and simple -no ribbon!  I just added a couple extra pearls in Champagne, that's it.

Below is the link list for today's hop!  I am the last stop of this Prima hop, so if you just happened along at my blog, be sure to start at the beginning as Sharon is offering some wonderful blog candy to one lucky commenter.  The winner will be chosen from any one of the blogs, so the more you comment, the better chance you have.  The blog candy is an amazing assortment of Prima flowers, ribbons and lace!  Check. It. Out.  The winner will be selected Friday night at 6 p.m. and announced on Sharon's blog on Saturday morning.
Tammy Hershberger (Guest Designer)
Michelle Woerner -this is me!

I also wanted to mention that all of the Spellbinders and JustRite Stampers products are on sale at the store this week!  Get them while they're hot!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed all the PRIMA goodness today!!  I'll leave you with a couple close up pictures.
You can find all the accessories and supplies on these cards in the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

My Blog-a-versary giveaway!

***This blog candy giveaway is now closed.***

Hi everyone!  Well, 3 years ago I started this blog.  WOW.  Seriously?  It seems like yesterday chatting with my Dirty Dozen friend, Denise Marzec asking her advise on how to get this buggar started.  Man, where has the time gone?  AND I can hardly believe all that's happened to me "crafty-wise" in 3 years.  My card style has changed 2 or 3 times, I met lots of wonderful friends and have been blessed to be on some of my DREAM design teams!  Yes indeed, 3 great years!  And did I mention it is my birthday?  Yep, I started blogging on my birthday -makes the anniversaries easier to remember, lol!

So, in honor of my blog-a-versary, I am having a special giveaway!  I thought it would be fun to have a little something from each of companies that I design for.  First up, Sharon (who most of you know is my my crafty idol) and owner of Stamp Simply Ribbon Store has generously donated not 1, or 2, but 3 wonderful Stamp Simply Basics Embellishment kits in Yellow, Ivory and Hot Pink (just my colors!).  Each kit contains a package of Prima flowers, pearls and 5 yards of ribbon.

Next, I have a couple stamp sets from Gina K Designs up for grabs:
Christ is Risen (note this set is not new, it was used by me once during the release):
And now a little something from Spellbinders Paper Arts!  I have 2 fabulous sets of Nestabilities -the Long Classic Rectangles Lg and Long Classic Rectangles Sm.  I don't have a picture or link to the Small set as it is retiring, but it is just like these only 1/4" smaller in scale.

And last but not least I still have a stamp set from my days of selling Ippity Stamps, House a Home (one of my favies!).

So I was thinking I should give away the goodies to 3 random commenters instead of 1 big ole grand prize?  Spread the goodies to more people, I say!!

I was thinking I would split the goodies like this:
1 winner would win: 3 embellishment kits
1 winner would win: 3 stamp sets
1 winner would win: 2 Nestabilities sets

All you have to do to enter is leave me a comment here on this post.  That's it, you don't have to become a follower or anything.  Just stop by and say HI!!  You have until Friday night, June 17th to leave me a comment.  I will pick the winners and post them Saturday morning, the winners will have 3 days to contact me.

Thanks for stopping by and a BIG THANK YOU all for your support over these years.  Here's to a few more!

Some Ippity fun

Hi everyone!  I have a couple Ippity Stamps cards to share today.  You all remember I used to design for Ippity and also sold Ippity Stamps?  Well, even though I don't do either anymore doesn't mean I stopped loving me some Ippity.  I was totally excited to get my hands on some of the newest releases! My friend, JenMarie sells Ippity Stamps and she has great service, I highly recommend her!

First I have a card using the new set, Flowers+Friends=Priceless.  Love the whimsical flowers in this set.  I found this washi tape on clearance at my LSS from American Crafts and used that as a starting point for my color scheme.  I stamped the base flowers and colored them orange, then cut out the littler ones, colored them blue and added a small button to the center.
Next is a card using the set The Simple Things that I made for a magazine call awhile ago for a color challenge.  It was to use bright red, yellow and Christmas green.  Yeah, I really struggled with these colors, but I think using them with lots of white helped -lol!  I embossed the flowers with clear powder and hand drew the outline with a fine point black marker.  Needless to say, it didn't make the cut, but it is a cute and simple thank you card which are always nice to have on hand.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back Monday for my blog-a-versary giveaway!  I can't believe it's been 3 years.  whew!  I'll leave you with some close up pics.

Card Deets:
Stamps - Flowers+Friends=Priceless (Ippity Stamps)
Accessories - Copic markers, Washi tape (American Crafts), hand dyed seam binding ribbon, clear rhinestones from Tiny Twinkles wheel (Taylored Expressions)

Stamps - The Simple Things (Ippity Stamps) and Dutch Mustard (for sentiment)
Ink - Picante, Yellow Citrus and Ice Jade (ColorBox)
Paper - (SU!) Poppy Parade and white cardstock
Accessories - Multiliner .2 black pen, clear embossing powder, clear rhinestones from Tiny Twinkles wheel (Taylored Expressions)

Isn't it DeLovely?

Hi everyone!  I have a couple bright fun cards to share today.  Yesterday, Sharon posted a card using the fabulous DeLovely kit and it made me want to bust out my papers and play!  This kit features the Cosmo Cricket paper pack DeLovely with some specially chosen accessories.  Bright pink, blue and yellow? -I'm in love!

This card uses the paper, flower, ribbon and even a tiny rhinestone from the kit.  The stamp set is Everyday Greetings from Wordsworth.
Here is a DeLovely card I made awhile back.  I used the same stamp set along with some silver string and that fabulous Trellis Rose flower.  Yep, you could say I have had a long time love affair with this paper :-)
So, Monday is my Blog-a-Versary and I have a couple fun giveaways planned, so be sure to come back then.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Card Deets:
All papers and accessories used on these cards can be purchased from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
See DeLovely Kit contents for everything except for stamp set, Everyday Greetings.

Some new items in the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday.  I don't have anything new to share as I have been working on some Spellbinders Summer CHA projects that I can't share.  You know, this is my first time being on a Manufacturer team, so making projects that will be displayed in a CHA booth is a really exciting thing for me!

Anyway, I thought I would share a couple of new items that Sharon has added to the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store this month.  You can click to the main home page to see all that's new, but I just had to point out these gorgeous GREEN FABRIC PRIMA flowers called Delightful Day for $4.99!  I have just a little thing for green, so I think these are just stunning.
And look at these pretty papers from Prima!  Prima papers aren't normally my thing, but I am drawn to the fun purples, mustard and turquoise colors in this Melody Collection. You get all 12 sheets for $9.95.
Be sure to stop by her Specials Section which lists all the goodies on sale.  Lots of pretty stuff in there (including all her Spellbinders die templates)!

Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I'll have something crafty to share in the next few days!  Have a great day.

Gina K Release Inspiration Blog Hop: Day 4

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the final day of the the Gina K Designs May Release Inspiration Blog hop!  Today we are spotlighting the StampTV Kit set, Vintage Chic.  Be still my little heart.  This set is A-MAZING!  I love all the images in it BIG TIME.  Kinda funny how both my cards ended up using the same image and sentiment, let's just say that was planned.  Yeah, planned!  lol!

First up is the card I shared on the Invitation blog hop post, but for those of you who missed it here it is.  I went pretty vintage with this one.  Some layering, sewing and distressing.  Soft and pretty.
This next card is the polar opposite!  One layer CAS card.  I guess it shows just how versatile these images are.  For this card, I used some Washi Tape (a recent splurge from Etsy), some Baker's twine and a few tiny rhinestones.  The image was heat embossed (I've been doing that a lot lately) and I added some white gel pen accents to the centers.

For even more samples of these new sets, you can visit each of the GKD Design Team blogs listed below.  Make sure you leave a comment here and on each of their blogs because Gina is going to draw two randomly chosen winners from all of the blog comments, and each will get a stamp set of their choice valued at up to $24.95!  Gina will announce the winners on her blog tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by!  I will leave you with a couple close up pictures.  Thank you all so much for joining me with this 4 day inspiration blog tour!  Have a great day and enjoy the rest of the hop!

Gina K Release Inspiration Blog Hop: Day 3

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Day 3 of the Gina K Designs May Release Inspiration Blog hop!  Today we are spotlighting the sets, Elegant Elements which is the 1 free with 3 set, and By the Sea illustrated by Theresa Momber.

First up is my card using Elegant Elements.  This set has 7 fabulous element images!  I just love this round one.  I embossed them with clear EP and it just made them POP.  I left the sentiment off and am keeping this in my stash for whatever occasion comes up.
Next up is a Father's Day card I made with By the Sea.  What I love about these images is that they can be colored lightly (for us coloring challenged) and still look amazing.  In addition to busting out my oldie but goodie embossing folder, Swiss Dots, I added some scoring lines at the bottom to add a bit of interest (you can kinda see it in the close up pic).

Be sure to come back tomorrow as we finish the May Release Inspiration Hop with the StampTV Kit!
